The working day adjusted turnover of construction enterprises increased by 0.5 per cent in March 2025 compared to the previous year, according to Statistics Finland.
The volume of sales, from which the impact of price changes has been eliminated, increased by 4.8 per cent.
Working day adjusted turnover in building construction fell by 2.4 per cent and sales volume rose by 1.4 per cent in March 2025 compared to one year before.
In turn, working day adjusted turnover in civil engineering decreased by 0.9 per cent and sales volume grew by 3.4 per cent from the previous year.
Turnover in specialised construction activities went up by 3.5 per cent and sales volume by 7.6 per cent.
Seasonally adjusted sales volume in construction, however, did not change compared to February.
