The Jyväskylä District Court on Friday remanded a man into custody for his alleged involvement in killing his father and wife at Laukaa in Jyväskylä last month, police said in a press release.
Police said that the incident took place on April 23 at Lievestuori area in the locality when the suspect attacked the victims with sharp weapon and killed them.
Police recovered the bodies of the deceased from the spot after the murders.
Police arrested the 30-year-old man on April 28 in connection with the murders and he admitted his involvement in the incident.
The police, however, did not divulge the detail identities of the suspect and the victims but said that the victims are father and wife of the suspected killer.
The police produced the suspect before the District Court on Friday and the court ordered to remand him into custody.
Police are investigating into the incident and will continue interrogation to find out the motive of the murders.
The date for filing charges of the case was set on August 26.
