The Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden, will visit Finland on Tuesday at the invitation of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, said a government press release.
Orpo and Frieden will discuss topical EU and international issues such as European security, Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the relationship between Europe and the United States.
They will also discuss the forthcoming negotiations on the EU’s next multiannual financial framework (MFF) and efforts to improve the EU’s competitiveness.
In their discussions on bilateral issues between Finland and Luxembourg, the prime ministers will focus on deepening economic relations between the two countries in areas such as innovation, digitalisation, the circular economy, health, education and the space industry.
While in Helsinki, Frieden will also meet with President Alexander Stubb.
